Rising actress Erivo graduated from RADA in 2010 and came to attention of critics after landing the lead in The Color Purple during its run at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2013.

In the same year as her graduation Erivo - who can sing, dance and act - was nominated for a BEFFTA for Best Female Act 2010 and has gone onto be nominated for Best Unsigned International Artist for the Online Music Awards. She also supported American Idol's Fantasia Barrino and Mario at the IndigO2.
