Australian actor, who cut his teeth on soap Home and Away, is the latest person to be cast in X Men: Days of Future Past, alongside the likes of Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence and veterans Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.

Although his character is being kept strictly under wraps, Helman could prove to be a pivotal part of the film, having already impressed with small parts in Animal Kingdom and Jack Reacher. With Mad Max: Fury Road also on his upcoming slate, the next 12 months could be huge for the young Aussie star from Adelaide.
