Channel 4 News International Editor Lindsey Hilsum and BBC Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet have launched the Marie Colvin Female Correspondents Circle - an extension of The Circle, set up in 2008 by Annie Lennox in collaboration with Oxfam to benefit women living in poverty worldwide, by sharing specialist skills and experience.

The new circle was set up in memory of Marie Colvin, who died while covering the siege of Homs in Syria last year, and is to focus on nurturing young journalists.
