Tipped as the female Justin Bieber, this 12 year old singer/songwriter from Canada has caused a storm on YouTube, generating attention not just for her powerful voice but original songs too.

After starting to upload videos from the age of nine, produced with the help of her dad James Russell, she's been snapped up by mega-producer Simon Cowell and signed to his Syco label. Although no plans for a forthcoming album have been officially announced, with YouTube hits regularly reaching over a million, watch this space!
