It was moving to the UK, after spending part of her childhood in her father's native Saudi Arabia, which first introduced Hart to drama, a discovery she credits with giving her confidence.
She landed her first big screen role in Paddy Considine's upcoming thriller Honour, where she plays a girl escaping her family after being targeted for an honour killing, when she'd just graduated from her English degree at King's College London. Hart's next venture is in the BBC's much anticipated upcoming drama Atlantis, which will take the all-important Saturday tea-time slot this autumn, previously inhabited by cult successes Doctor Who and Merlin. Set in the mythical land of gods and ancient Greek legends, the series also stars Sarah Parish, Jemima Rooper, Mark Addy and Juliet Stevenson.
