BBC Director-General Lord Tony Hall, who takes up his post April 2, has announced changes to the corporation's senior team appointing James Purnell as Director, Strategy and Digital (March 20), expanding Tim Davie's current BBC Worldwide role to CEO, BBC Worldwide and Director, Global (April 2), and appointing Helen Boaden as Director, BBC Radio (April 15).
