The London Press Club has announced the appointment of Doug Wills as its new chairman, replacing Steve Oram who held the post for the last six years.

Wills, managing editor of the London Evening Standard, The Independent, Independent on Sunday and i said 'The London Press Club is vital to the media in these challenging times, and it is more important than ever that we extol the best of journalism'.
