American actor Samuel L Jackson has announced he's fronting the Shooting Stars Benefit for the fifth time, this year in partnership with Affinity Real Estate.

The celebrity charity golf event is set for June 14-15 and aims to raise funds for the Samuel L Jackson Foundation, to be used for Dementia and Alzheimer's research. The Django Unchained star, who lost his mother to the disease in 2012, said 'The money raised from this year's Shooting Stars Benefit will go towards important research so that we can help others who are suffering in the future'.
