Stars including Michael Owen, Leona Lewis and David Harewood have pledged their support to Action for Children's Christmas Appeal, asking their Twitter followers to donate to the cause via text.
Jessica Hynes has also appeared on The One Show to discuss her association with the charity, which helps vulnerable children in the UK.
