British boyband and X Factor stars One Direction have joined forces with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees to star in a new Pepsi TV ad set to air in the US during the MLB playoffs, the World Series, NFL season and The X Factor.

The singers are shown arguing over a can of the drink with the American athlete. Celebrities including David Beckham, Elton John and Britney Spears have featured in previous campaigns for the brand.
