Sir Sir Michael Parkinson, Fiona Phillips and Gordon Banks are backing a new campaign from the Department of Health with support from the Alzheimer’s Society, aiming to increase early diagnosis rates of dementia.
The 'A Day to Remember' campaign is part of the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia, launched in March, encouraging the public not to avoid the first difficult conversation with a friend or family member upon spotting the signs and symptoms of dementia. The initiative seeks to raise awareness of the condition, the initial symptoms, and how to seek help.
