Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee have been appointed to the board of directors at Autism Speaks, which funds research into the causes and treatments for the condition.
The pair, who married in 2008, each have a child affected by autism and have worked with the organisation for several years, hosting its third Annual World Focus on Autism conference in 2010.
