Galt Toys have commissioned a report which reveals celebrities rank lower in importance than Royals and politicians with UK school children.

The report by child research experts ChildWise saw The Queen top the list with 91% of the vote, followed by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in second and third place, respectively. Simon Cowell received half as many votes (20%) as PM David Cameron (45%) from the 650 children researched and David Beckham was deemed less important than London Mayor Boris Johnson. Victoria Beckham came last in the rankings, receiving only four per cent of the vote.
