Jamie Oliver launches Food Revolution Day

16 05 2012

The Jamie Oliver Foundation is launching its first Food Revolution Day on May 19, a global day of action to inspire, educate and empower people to stand up for real food.

A weekend of events around the world aims to prevent diet-related diseases and educate people on healthier food choices, in an attempt to tackle issues of obesity and malnourishment. Participants can go online to find and register local community events including dinner parties and gardening tutorials, with all proceeds going towards food education projects in the US, UK and Australia.
