Matt Jarvis supports British Heart Foundation's call for life-savers

10 05 2012

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matt Jarvis is backing the British Heart Foundation's drive to fund more life-savers.

Following Fabrice Muamba's collapse in March, the charity has launched its Life-saver appeal to train more people in emergency life support skills, including CPR. Football fans are being urged to text 'CPR' to 70030 and donate £5, the cost of training one person. Jarvis said 'It would be fantastic if the UK’s football stadiums were filled with people who knew exactly what to do in a medical emergency - the British Heart Foundation’s Life-saver appeal can help that become a reality'.
