Cynthia Nixon is lending her support to the National Rosacea Society and appearing in an online public service announcement for Rosacea Awareness Month.

Revealing for the first time that she suffers with the condition, the Sex and The City actress urges people to seek diagnosis from a dermatologist, saying 'My harsh, do-it-yourself skin care routine was actually contributing to my rosacea flare-ups, and my dermatologist helped me develop a routine that worked for me'.
