Harry Potter actor Tom Felton has been revealed as the latest ambassador for the END7 campaign, which raises public awareness about seven neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) infecting one in six people worldwide.

The initiative, launched in January 2012 by the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, raises funds to cover the cost of distributing medicine and setting up treatment programmes for NTDs. Other celebrities backing the campaign include Bill Nighy.
