Professional dog trainer and host of The Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan has been appointed national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America's Pet Adoptathon event, sponsored by Purina ONE.
Over 2500 shelters in 50 states will support the initiative throughout May, by holding special events to promote the benefits of pet adoption and showcase the many healthy animals available.
