ELLE has revealed David Beckham as the magazine's first ever male cover star.

The July issue, on sale May 30, will be the first time Beckham has appeared on the cover of a women's fashion magazine, highlighting the publication's nod to the Olympic Games. Available to subscribers on May 28, ELLE also gave its Twitter followers exclusive access to the shoot in LA yesterday, streaming live behind-the-scenes stills.
