British rower Ben Hunt-Davis, champion fencer Laurence Halsted and hockey star Susannah Townsend are set to join 600 schoolgirls for an Olympic style walkathon on the streets of London, March 28.
Pupils from South Hampstead High School will embark on a 10k relay through the capital, taking it in turns to carry five litres of water in aid of Plan UK's Because I Am A girl campaign. It's hoped the support of Team GB will help the charity to ensure four million of the world’s poorest girls have access to a quality education.
