Stephen Fry is backing Amnesty International's Write For Rights campaign, launched today, which encourages people across the world to write a hand-written letter on behalf of one of ten Amnesty cases.
The initiative, which runs until International Human Rights Day (December 10) celebrates a return to the humble pen for Amnesty's 50th year. Fry, a prolific Twitter user, said 'there are some occasions when nothing, but nothing, can replace the power of the hand-written letter'.
