Stephen Fry appointed President of Mind mental health charity

British actor and writer Stephen Fry joins mental health charity Mind as President, succeeding Lord Melvyn Bragg who steps down after 15 years at the helm.

Fry, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has supported the charity for many years and previously fronted the Get It Off Your Chest campaign. He officially begins his post in September (see Diary).
