Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts is the new Global Ambassador of The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves.
The star will work with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to raise awareness about the two million lives lost each year from relying on stoves and open fires which use unsafe materials, particularly in developing countries.
