Michael Douglas is guest of honour at a fundraiser for the Montreal hospital which diagnosed his throat cancer, after it was overlooked by other doctors.

The McGill University Hospital Centre hosts the $375-a-head gala, May 3, with auction prizes including a round of golf with Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones near their Montreal vacation home. Special VIP tickets include pre-event cocktails with the Oscar-winning actor.
